1. Vehicle tax is the biggest scam going. WTF does it actually pay for? Before anyone gives me the “you’ve not paid it since 1930!” Shit we pay some form of vehicle tax yet it goes into the bottomless pit that is the govt coffers

   I wish everyone would collectively cancel it. We’re had over a barrel here. High taxes for nothing back

2. This happens around May every year in my local town. You’ll head to work one morning and see clamps on all the cars that are not taxed.

3. I disagree with how car tax is collected. I live out in the sticks, am not rich so can’t afford a modern low emissions vehicle. I pay over £400 a year in car tax but drive on average 3000 miles a year. I think tax should be calculated on mileage that could easily be recorded at each MOT.
