  1. Israel murdered 3 uk citizens last month and now we lick their boots. We truly are a pathetic nation.

  2. It would be cool if such a feat would be possible in aid for country which is actually fighting for its very survival, whose air defences are on the bring of collapse and their cities and infrastructure is getting pounded to dust by someone who has declared that they are at war with the west… you know, just a thought

  3. A single ASRAAM, or a UK produced surface-to-air missile costs around £200,000 ($249,140 USD, €233,480) each.

That’s a load of taxpayers money that’s not going to be spent back into public services and infrastructure programs. Not to forget the billions wasted funding Israel’s revenge massacre.

If only the UK government spent as much time building ourselves up than it did larping as a global power.

  4. Remember kids:

Shooting down Russian drone or rocket flying through territory of NATO country is an escalation and NATO should never do that.

Shooting down Iranian drone or rocket flying over third country to nonNATO country is not an escalation and it’s ok to do that.

To defeat Israel Iran should just ask Russia to lunch Iranian drones. Not a single country will dear to intervene.

  5. Rishi happy to come to the aid of a genocidal regime that has rockets fired at it after assassinating another state’s officials in a foreign embassy, but draws the line at preventing an indigenous civilian population being exterminated.

  6. Now, *also live up to the promise* to defend that other country who gave up their WMDs in trade for safety assurances.. Remember that ?

  7. As a Englishman, fucking UK. Feel like we are or have always been the baddies.

  8. Among other things, last night was an insane, unintentional training exercise. Every system on alert. From the UK’s perspective, coordination with many different forces in a complex web. They try to replicate these kinds of things in joint training missions, but it’s never this real.

UK’s air defence probably goes up a notch in operational quality… after this. many lessons to learn, I’m sure.

  9. I’m fascinated how people don’t understand that Russia and Iran are firing the same drones, in the same war against the west. It’s great that the western powers finally showed some joint action with shots fired against those dictatorship regimes

  10. Iran has the right to defend itself.

    well done Iran.

the retaliation was calculated, and didn’t risk any civilian casualties, unlike the Israeli strike on Iran’s embassy, in the middle of a crowded city.

  11. it must be a good feeling when your aliases actually care about your survival

  12. meanwhile the brittish police cant protect the citisens in london…
