Edit: I don’t want anyone to think I might be taking some sort of dig at gay or queer communities as discussions seem to be heading that way It’s just a little bit of jest, I was looking through the sale page and felt a little out of touch with modern styles, that is all.

  2. Unfortunately, if you’re a gentleman above a certain age, you have to suck it up and accept that ASOS isn’t for us anymore. Same day I got my Matalan loyalty card, coincidentally.

  5. I’ve never used ASOS before and just went to their website. Clicked on mens clothing, then tshirts and literally the first tshirt to come up were plain white and black normal tshirts.

  6. Uniqlo for when you’re in that awkward in between stage. Or just cut to the chase and go M&S and be comfortable.

  7. You could always try Cos, if you want to wear beige clothes that you could fit 2 other people into, accessorised by orthopaedic shoes.

  10. I find weird fish is the best option for mens T Shirts that don’t ride up above the belly or have ridiculous patterns on.

    M&S not too bad for a cheaper option but they can come up a little short.

    This is 2024…
    ASOS sells all sorts of brands from various shops even the ones that you would never have walked into. Just because they sell certain items doesn’t mean you have to buy them or be offended by them ( they do sell “normal” clothes too).

  16. If your t-shirts are riding up have you tried buying from the tall range (M&S have one but so do other shops) because I’m average height but have stumpy hobbit legs and a long torso so buy tall tops. I’m a woman though so more complicated.

  18. I’m a 31YO woman and I went on ASOS for the first time in like… 8 years the other day. I hated everything too! Even just the posing and camera angles were enough to throw me off, let alone the clothing styles.

Asos deal with high fashion and probably only have a couple in each size of the ones you’re talking about but their bread and butter where they make their money is in the every stuff like t-shirts, joggers and leggings. One of the dudes that created Asos explained it to us once when he visited the customer service centre when I worked there.

  26. i was searching for graduation dresses recently on asos and there’s so much weird stuff on there, i found it surprisingly difficult to find plain things, sometimes you think oh that’s quite nice and then you swipe and see the back 😂

  32. Literally just search on there for “plain t-shirts”, I.e the product you’re looking for. I just did it and there’s 100’s of them. You created the problem by not knowing how websites work.

    They’re all completely normal. I think you’re using the site wrong…
