A new robe climbing record | DW News

The French Athlete Anok Garnier has broken the world record in rope climbing by far. In 18 minutes she climbed 110 meters on the rope to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. The previous record for a man was 90 meters.

    Here's one guy who was fascinated to hear the québécois accent on DW. Music to this AZ cowboy's ears. A proud and prosperpus people numbering in the 7 million or so.. To think Modernity reached Québec only in the 1960s….and how.this mentality took less than 10 years to replace a kind of pre-Renaissance existence the clergy were able to.uphold for 4 centuries…

  2. The 'safety line' was tense the whole time, meaning she could have been resting her weight on it to some degree or another. Absolutely no good reason why the safety line shouldn't have some amount of slack to it, even just 6 inches of slack. Even less. I wouldn't validate this climb without seeing some degree of slackness in the safety line.
