Oof. Yeah, that wasn’t a nice time for anyone involved anywhere. Except for the Nazis and those who did agree with them to some extent.

  2. And people wonder why I insist on that a lot of people in Europe cant let go of history. At some time dear Poland you have to figure out what you want. Either cooperation and forward working or constantly sticking to the past and being the constant victim. You cant be both.

Edit: Keep downvoting me. I have no reason to feel bad about it, as my generation did everything to right the wrongs as much as possible. So tried my parents generation. But my children and my grandchildren begin to be tired of the constant bashing and many dont feel like my generation at times. You wonder about how the AfD gains so many young voters? You practically feed them with this stuff because you dont seem to have come to terms with Germany.

  3. Germans keep paying back to Israel and donated to Russia through Nord Stream 1&2 but did not fare to compensate for their evil to Poland because they see us Poles as subhuman beings not equal their status. My belated granddad was in camp and didn’t get a single dime.

  4. At least they did not pay us reparations for it. But at least we could suffer under the boot of the Russians for another 50 years.

  5. Naz… crimes if you please!

Writing German on top of the topic is a bit generalist.

I apologize for calling your attention to it, OP.

  7. I found this Site which has a much better resolution. ~~It’s still in polish but maybe someone can pitch in an english legend.~~

Edit: forget it, the map already has a translation, i only skimmed over it when i posted the comment.

  8. All British historians making TV programs should study it keeping in mind that victims were not only Jewish.

  9. well, poland did have it coming. never underestimate people who got shat on by the whole world not even two decades ago.

  10. Interesting map. I never realized there were as many work camps and death camps in Poland alone.

  11. I wonder if the post is going to stick. Mods seem to hate posts like this one.

I believe we should also include USSR’s crimes and maps from other countries as well. Belarus was hit just as hard as Poland if not harder.

  12. To be clear, not all the crimes were committed by Nazis. Some Poles were more than bystanders. No one comes out of this with their pride intact.
