  1. The life expectancy for black men in the US is basically the Social Security retirement age.

  2. Tell me again how our healthcare system is better?

Currently been waiting a month for a scan to find out if I have cancer (very serious, to be clear) here after fighting insurance.

  3. We tend to be fatter, and die of lifestyle related illnesses.

  4. Claim for Social Security as soon as you are able to. Even if it means claiming Early Social Security at reduced monthly benefit.

  5. I would question the quality of life in those last year across European vs US. They just want you to focus on the age number. However, The age IS NOT the only thing here.

Is not the same as to live a full, productive, enjoyable, independent, last years of your life than to be bed-ridden, dialysis, 250 pills a day for the 355 health problems you have, obese, etc.

  6. Well it kind of makes sense you’re richer you got money to look after yourself and you’re poorer you got…less money to look after yourself. Sad but it makes sense. It’s all about the money. Before you say us is the richest …the wealthiest Americans totally skew the averages. American are more poorer than is generally known

  7. Our healthcare is pretty good, for the ~92% of Americans with health insurance at least. But our lifestyle is sedentary and our food, especially the cheap food, is literal poison. A substantial amount of the ingredients in this food is even banned in Europe. So, this is not surprising.
