Gosh – how terrible, a labour shortage means companies will have to pay workers more and treat them better to attract staff – oh no, won’t someone think of Amazon’s profits. We must import cheap labour immediately
Now remember, that during the black death (plague) Feudalism died out becasuse there weren’t enough peasants to work for the kings…..So the kings had to start paying people to work the land.
I like when history repeats itself, means we haven’t learned.
