Iran’s allies: Syria & Russia. Every other country in the Middle East views them unfavourably, where they want peace and stability, Iran wants to argue and intimidate. The Iranian population doesn’t want any of that it seems, only to be free to live how they choose without Islamic doctrine. If Israel retaliates, Russia can do nothing, it needs its own weapons and Iran will need what little drone force it can muster. If the Iranian government were to be defeated and a moderate replacement take power, a lot of the current issues in the region would be stopped. No more IRGC or Hezbollah, sounds too good to be true.
