Hamas and the Palestinians are a proxy for Iran. There won’t be any solution without acknowledging that Iran wants to wipe Israel out.
I get he has some vested interest in this region because of his wife and his cultural background. But I don’t see it being popular with average SNP voters.
Israel struck an Iranian consul in Syria (which is fucking ileagal btw) deliberately to escalate and try to force a confrontation with Iran to try and force Western allies into this nonsense.
