The Thames Clipper boats are an under-appreciated treat.
We just returned from a 6 day trip. London is so beautiful ❤️ We stayed near Tower Hill so your pictures make me happy 😊
Always enjoys little trip down the Thames on an uber boat, quite an interesting point of view of the city from there
Honestly, as a Londoner don’t shy away from zone 1, there’s plenty of great stuff in the city centre
A Londoner who’s been only been to the city for the first time. I’m guessing you don’t quite literally mean that
The Thames Clipper ride is one of my favourite touristy things to recommend to visitors.
– Breakfast somewhere in Battersea
– Boat to Greenwich
– Cutty Sark, lunch and a pint at Trafalgar Tavern
– DLR to Tower Gateway
– Cross Tower Bridge by foot, go to Borough Market, then straight to South Bank
How can you be a Londoner and go here for the first time unless you’re a kid?
When you say you’re a Londoner, how long have you lived in London for? I’m curious.
I loveee playing tourist in my own city. Born and raised here and on less-than-happy days there’s still nothing better than sightseeing, visiting exhibitions, our beautiful parks! I love London ❤️
P.S.
I meant that I’ve never been to the City for touristic reasons. Only driving through or eating out there
I like that tower bridge picture. It’s interesting to not see it as a whole and focus on that specific detail.
