Admittedly this is not in the UK; thought it would brighten up this Monday though.

  1. Well you know what your kids look like, you might not see another lizard for god knows how long.

  2. You can take pictures of your kids whenever you like (and you’ve probably already got more than you will ever look at). The lizard is only in your life momentarily, so you have to take as many pictures as you can *now*.

  3. It is a ‘Viviparous lizard’ they give birth to live young rather than laying eggs unlike other lizards. Adders do this too, unlike other snakes. Both species are northerly examples of their kind, so I suspect this is a trait adopted due to the cold.

poor sod seems to be stranded in a sea of plastic grass

  5. My favourite game in Florida- Is it a lizard or is it a leaf?

  6. When I went on holiday in 2009, I counted the number of lizards I saw. 76 for those wondering.

  7. At least it looks sunny. I’m off to Lanzarote next week and by the looks of the weather forecast it’s due to rain half the time.im there and have the lowest temperatures of them last few weeks.
