Coming from a country who invaded Iraq because of buildings struck by a small group of people in Afganistan, masterminded by a Saudi, under the disguise of “WMD’S.” I think it is fairly obvious that Russia invaded Ukraine and striking oil refineries will help cripple a foreign nation invading a soveriegn nation that was not possing a threat to the Invading nation. The invading nation is instituting imperilism and threatening the world and the west, which also seems to have its hands in the U.S. system. If anything Americans should be saying here are missles, please for the love of god blow up all the refineries in Russia as we respect a soveriegn democratic nation that doesn’t want to create wars and is defending its own teritory.
The most American thing is suppose to be freedom and if another nation that also desires freedom for its people is under attack then those people should be supported. Those people are ukrainian.
The US hasn’t been invaded in over 200 years; and no, the Aleutians don’t count.
Furthermore, the US hasn’t fought a purely defensive war in over 200 years. In all conflicts since then, it has hit targets in enemy territory.

Putin has had little restraint as far as targeting Ukrainian civilians, or economic and military targets, Ukraine has every right to target Russia’s bread and butter that is their oil and gas. US had no such restraint during WWII on such targets in Germany and Japan. Ukraine’s fight is an existential one, Russia’s is a war of choice, an illegal one at that.
I want to further reinforce other’s who have pointed out reducing Russia’s refineries to ashes makes more oil available to global markets, not less, and increased oil supplies mean lower, not higher oil prices.
