I’ve seen that a few times at county fairs and even a festival once alongside some Arctic Monkey’s. Always fun to watch. I suppose ducks are very similar to sheep in the way they follow one another, and if you have a business which showcases herding, it’s logistically easier to transport ducks versus sheep..
Edit: plus ducks waddling around are far more hilarious than sheep any day of the week.
Duck Tales! Woo-hoo!
Seen this or something similar. Most enjoyable show
Have you not heard the well known adage? – “Birds of a feather herd together”
Sheep dog trials at weddings? 😳
I have a friend whose girlfriend is an award-winning herding dog trainer. She has geese, because they’re cheaper than sheep and take up less space, but can still be herded. It’s pretty common, apparently. I assume this is a similar setup.
Do they get themselves in a row?
Would definitely change the story to the movie Babe.
Not if they’re deaf.
I remember when a lorry carrying chickens crashed on the M80 outside Glasgow and hundreds, maybe thousand of chickens were let loose.
They announced on the news they were getting a bus load of ‘chicken catching experts’ I wonder if this is they….
E. I know it’s says ducks. It’s a transferable skill.
Having worked in the corporate events sphere in the past I can say that they are an exceedingly popular team building activity.
Duck herding: coming to your next team away day near you!
What ducks?
You don’t see when it goes wrong
I like that the *van* gets to stay anonymous in all of this…
You censor the licence plate so as not to doxx him but leave up his name, number and email?
Sure shepherd’s when training dogs start the pups on ducks.
Ducks herd themselves wherever the ducks want to go. Dogs herd the ducks in the direction *you* want them to go.
Weddings and Parties?
We got Sammy Virji back to back with Bvnquet in the house n’ garage lounge and duck herding in the main room
