Most fans don’t seem to realise this but when you’re a professional footballer, your affiliation to the club you support goes out of the window. Look at Palmer he’s a United fan, came through the ranks with us and is now at Chelsea and dunked on United a few days ago.
Getting paid to do your best for your current cub outweighs anything for the team you supported since you were a kid.
Also ironic at how Arsenal fans are calling Villa a mid table club as if them themselves didn’t finish 8th back to back campaigns and that in the last 2 years is the only time that they’ve been relevant since Wenger
