Took a trip to the Highland Wildlife Park at the weekend and met Brodie the Polar Cub, who’s expected to grow to over 800kg, an adorable pair of Tigers who got up to some marital ghastliness during our visit, and the snow monkeys, who are missing their Houdini like pal, who was being bullied by the other Japanese Macaque monkeys and opted to take the hit from the electric fence and terrorise the local red squirrels.
Apparently, he’s been relocated to Edinburgh and is now cock of the walk of a new gang of Macaques whom he lords it over having tasted the freedom of Newtonmore…
They monkeys look like they’re waiting for Houdini coming back with £20 on the key for the meter.
