Czy to dlatego Trzaskowski wygrywa? Wywala samochody i przemienia ulice w urocze deptaki?
Nicer than the street, yet the same amount of asphalt
The trees will have a stressfull and short live, they need more area for the roots and also for water absorption. So they will throw up their leaves the next time there is a drought, assuming drought could be an issue in Warsaw.
You would rather see the heat death of the universe before you see something like this in Romania
Is that pic a projection, or very old? I don’t see the giant egg.
Someone know how these is financed? It’s only on the city or there is help from region/country/UE. I feel like this type of infrastructure/investment need more support.
The fucking cars parked in the middle island in the first photo 🤮 here is Lisbon is that disgraceful behaviour everywhere.
Good on you, Warsaw.
For clarity, this isn’t an old square that has been ‘restored’, it’s a road junction that has been mainly pedestrianized.
Yeah it’s a bit concrete which is sad. Not sure if it’s bad planning, or pragmatic as it’s both heavily trafficked by pedestrians or part of a project you create a pedestrian ring around the main shopping area. It’s safe to say this is the least successful part of that plane but is still a major upgrade on how it was before.

Reminds me a ton of Cooper Square in Manhattan.
