I’m not wasting money on ‘professionals’ with their silly scaffolding…

  1. What’s this? 3 pints of brown ale and they think they’re Fred Dibnah!

  2. I just noticed the plank the middle ladder is resting on. I must say, the application of physics here – points of balance, fulcrums, angle of dangle, are most impressive.

  3. Funeral is on Tuesday for those wishing to attend.

  4. This is the most impressive thing I’ve seen today on Reddit.

  5. I think they call that setup the “Fred Dibnah”

  6. They are lucky, there could be an angry gorilla on the top of the roof throwing barrels at them.

  7. Yank here, lurking in r/CasualUK because it’s by far the best sub on Reddit. From everything I’ve read here about scaffolders in the UK, I’m not sure this wouldn’t be preferable to letting them near your property.

  8. Live action Snakes and Ladders has really taken a twist.

  9. Safety professional here – proud to see he’s remembered to always, always have someone hold your ladder while you’re on it.

  10. I wouldn’t get on that because I don’t want to die.

  11. Somewhere a puppet will be condemned to its storage crate forever after this palava

  12. This is the sort of situation the word “plummet” was made for.

  13. That’s nothing short of impressive. Concerning yes, still pretty impressive 😅

  14. Is that top ladder just resting on the guttering?

This is like one of those workplace training slides where you have to spot the hazards.

So many things they’re doing are absolutely mental!

  15. Put aside the leaning ladder at the top and that’s a really impressive set-up. It looks like they’ve even got a rope going down from the right hand end of the horizontal ladder to balance out the moment from the weight of the left hand ladders.

Shame the top ladder looks suicidal.

  16. Yeah, you hold that ladder, you’ll absolutely catch it if it slips

  17. The longer you look the crazier it becomes 😂

  18. “Don’t worry, mate. I was just watching that Big Bang Theory last night and picked up a few things”

  19. The angle on that top ladder is giving me anxiety. I can’t imagine it would take much for it to slide sideways and then everything will come crashing down

  20. This picture has the viral Tik tok “dumb ways to die” music vibe
