This is probably my favourite TV crossover of all time. Like many of us, I grew up watching both Conan and Ross na Run.
Back in 2005-06, I attended Conan’s late night show a good few times as my GF worked at NBC. I was able to use her work pass to wander around backstage at the show and meet some famous people including Conan.
Conan is a great lad and probably the most impressive person I have ever met, in terms of his presence, his achievements and his actual down to earth vibes, being a high energy and intensity person in a world of people who look up to him – both literally and figuratively. People really love this guy. His staff and the wider NBC teams adored him, the guests are usually in awe of the guy, even his podcast with fans is both funny and personable. He’s probably the only celebrity I would actually gush over.
So the prospect of some Conan shenanigans in Tigh Thaidhg makes for the must-watch TV event of the year! :p
