    Russia destroyed a thermal power plant in Kyiv because Ukraine had run out of missiles to defend it, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said as he warned that without further U.S. aid to fight Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aggression, Ukraine would “have no chance of winning.”

    Zelensky told PBS NewsHour that the destruction of the Trypilska thermal power plant on April 11—which cut out the generating capacity of Centrenergo, an energy company the capital depends on—was the result of the country having “zero missiles.”

  11. Get a grip guys dont wait for your government to act. I’ve sent hundreds of parts to Ukraine if you want to contribute and have a 3d printer let me know I’ll help set you up. I have a bunch of 3d printers and pallets of filament coming in. Logistics is the main bitch but that’s something I worry about if you decide to work with me and are in the US. If you are in EU most of your countries have hubs I can give an adress to and help you ship your prints. I mostly specialize in miscellaneous drone parts.

    You are not powerless western man despite all the bullshit you are told.

  12. If West has the hardware, why the need to intervene? Why not just give it to Ukraine.

  13. Why can’t the EU buy 1000 stored Bradleys from the US and send to Ukraine? And air defence. We’ve waited for the US to get the promised aid going for six months already, it’s about time we did something about it. Also, the US should get their shit together.

  17. For many years this sub was filled with people who claimed Europe is this new superpower far superior to USA in way of life,finance and innovation.

    This war and Europe’s inability to defend Ukraine on its own,instead of complaining about US Republicans,made me wonder where are those people now?

    But sure,lets talk about Russian GDP and compare it to Netherlands GDP.
    That is gonna help.

  18. We should all be finding individual big ways to help Ukraine like the guy sending 3D printers. It’s better to spend resources on them now then join them in fighting later.

  19. Why does the US have to take on the brunt of the financial burden? European countries need to be doing more to help Ukraine because guess what countries are in danger if Russia gets Ukraine cause it’s not the US

  20. Time to stop attributing the French nation to the word of “defeat” and “surrender” and start giving it to USA , because we will not forget what they didn’t do. Specially after all the Geo politic bullshit they have been doing since WW2, specially since Russia is invading specially due to the threat that USA made Russia feel, not even talking about inviting to NATO lol, this could all have been resolced through dialogue in the early years of Putin
