Serious question (excuse my ignorance): if we’re throwing out all these single-use things (cutlery, plates, cotton swabs …) in the “rest trash”, does it matter if it’s paper or plastic?
I mean: shouldn’t we look at the total: how polluting the creation process is, what resources do we need to make it, what other materials are we “consuming” when making these things (water, electricity) … ?

But they were so convenient. I never had to use the dishwasher often. Just throw the plates and cutlery out with the food. Are there alternatives?
I fully support this idea. Now people will have to use cardboard for their plates and cutlery. Although I am not happy they excluded cups.
You can’t recycle dirty cardboard so people will have to continue using trees for what they are intended.
I use a “peertje” instead of “wattenstaafjes” when needed. Can recommend as alternative!
Now about those disposable COVID self tests…
Got into modelling two weeks ago and now they ban cottonswaps…
Ik zou ook heel graag een verbod aan gemengde verpakking. Bijvoorbeeld bij de aldi kan je “papieren” zakjes voor je los groenten/fruit, alleen is daar een deel van plastic. Totaal nutteloos.

or is that not thought about and is this a perfect time for some “smuggling”
And there goes the price of paper/ wood. Plastic isn’t that bad, only needs 60 degrees to melt. For glass its 1900 and a tree needs 20 year to grow..
its us who are being stupid. We make it hard to reuse. Putting on the plastic foil a paper sticker…
If you don’t like the iron scoop thingy like I do, you can buy a last swap, reusable q-tip. Very happy with it!

Kant en klare maaltijden in een plastic steken dat te recycleren is, is een goede stap vooruit.
