    Javier Milei wants to privatize almost everything.
    So in the end Argentina could have instead of an army private militias and these should buy the jet fighters they need.
    In the end this might look like a failed state, but there is not too much distance between “lean state” and “failed state”.

  5. South America could see a lot of US investment if they forge closer ties with the US.

    It’ll be mutually beneficial.

    US could also aid in military cooperation improving the stability of South America.

    The old CIA days are gone hopefully where destsbalisation was used as a method.

    Certainly French Guyana, Suriname Guyana, Brazil and Argentina could forge closer military ties and it could grow from there. . Also ideally placed for increased trade with the EU too.

    Really would be beneficial if countries in new regions joined NATO then fragmented off into sub regions like south east Asia and in South America.

    America would need to work on keeping their democracies stable that requires intelligence sharing.

  8. Right, because spending money on fighter jets from anywhere is the right thing to do after trying to lay off 25% of public servants and drive your economy even further into the ground. I think Argentinians deserve better but will leave that to them.
