1. The whole “don’t retire because you’ll lose purpose in life” propaganda is really fucking dumb. I’ll find PLENTY of things to when I retire.

2. Hustle until you die…then give the excess money you left to the government.

   It’s the Hustle mentality that needs to die. My balls I am going to work until the day I die.

4. With unions and pensions now almost unknown, and half of those approaching retirement holding zero savings, more than a few oldsters cannot afford to retire. We shouldn’t be surprised that some put a happy face on this mess, claiming that being a Walmart greeter is actually quite fulfilling.

9. They can’t “unretire”. Nobody is going to hire them. They’ll be a handful of Walmart greeters and a few who are in good enough shape due to miracle genetics they can find a job a a grocery store. The rest are just shit out of luck.

   That’s why homelessness among the elderly is skyrocketing.

10. I’ve seen the articles and videos showing why people keep working, it’s because they don’t have money.

11. I am almost 40 and well in my way to a cushy retirement if I wanted. But nothing sounds worse to me lol.
