Converted to Euro: Denmark will invest in Ukrainian weapons with a new donation package totaling 2.2 billion Danish kroner (equal to around 300 million Euro), bringing their military support to Ukraine to over 40 billion kroner (equal to about 5.4 billion Euro). The money will be used for drones, missile component production in collaboration with Holland and Czech Republic, and investing in the Ukrainian defense industry.
$28 million approximately is support directly to Ukraine’s own defense industry.
“The donation package also includes “a significant maritime capability.”
The other is a very large donation in relation to a maritime contribution, which we do not delve into for operational reasons, says Troels Lund Poulsen further.”
