This is a problem I’ve heard mentioned both as an argument against supporting Ukraine (that went away after the first couple of months) as well as simply as a complaint about how they’re spending the money we’re investing… That it’s hard to understand how things are destroyed and then suddenly rebuilt, when they should be focusing on winning before rebuilding. I don’t really have an answer when someone mentions this, as I happen to agree.
