I was walking near the Sea caves west of Latchi harbour. Spotted this eel in a small rock pool laying on its side. I know the pools can become low in oxygen at night, but I don't know if an eel would survive that or not… The rock pool was within a few feet of the sea just after high tide today. The pool was maybe 2 feet wide. Any thoughts from the sub would be appreciated.

Dunno mate try checking it’s pulse maybe ! Or maybe just hold it and put it back in the water . I heard the results are shocking !

touch to check for a pulse or put hand near mouth to see if it breathes. Alternatively the salt on your arm when putting it in its mouth, wakes it up
