Britain ran commission after commission in the 1920’s and 30’s trying to find a solution to the issues between the jews and muslims in the middle east, only to come to the conclusion that there was no possible solution.
Britain even tried taking the jews out of palestine, which led to the jewish insurgency.
Just because they came late to the colonization party and overwrote many of the world problems the Spaniards and the Portuguese created.
