I think it’s Ok to make these mistakes instead of being too calm as barca had been during EV and Setien days.
I feel the energy of coach(es) also translates into how players react.
The entire team was mentally unstable and anxious. I don’t really blame Cancelo since everything was broken at that moment. We lie to ourselves if we think Barca could park the bus and just wait for the game to end.

Pretty useless tackle ball was going wide anyways. I wouldn’t expect this from an experienced player like cancelo honestly.
This is the perfect example why Xavi’s replacement cannot be Rafa Marquez. We need a coach that can take the team to that next level not nurture one to possibly become great

One thing that was super obvious yesterday was that both Cancelo and Lewa had absolute stinkers – Cancelo from the get go and Lewa later on.
If I had to criticize Xavi that it would be not looking at clear mistakes and subbing them out. You can’t be serious about playing for the badge if you play like you did yday – being selfish during the 3v2, just absolutely sleeping on a very dangerous winger, not running out against a midfielder who has a rep for shooting from distance. There were clear flags yday that they weren’t locked in and sometimes you have to man up and say “I’m gonna try someone else.” Too much protection for the seniors yday and it cost us badly.
Cancelo is clearly weak under pressure, he didn’t play well in either game. However it was just his mistake, it was a number of mistakes that mounted up.
Cancelo shouldn’t have been there anyway Xavi should’ve put in Alonso and moved Cancelo in to defend the midfield.
