Totally different context. Extra time, goal to tie match, last 5 minutes there’s no other option than tackling down opponent. Araujo was 2 goal leading, left 1hr game, big chances for Ter Steigen to stop attempting or at least play the ball. Dumbest decision ever from Araujo.
I don’t think Araujo was the last man either. Maybe Cubarsi could’ve made it.
There’s a big difference here, Araujo did it way too early. This was at the end to save the goal. And even Simeone knew it was a good tackle. There is a video(somewhere) where Fede walks past Simeone after this scene had died down and Simeone sticks out a hand. Say what you want about Simeone, but he respects game and doing something to save the team, and wasn’t even mad that Fede did this. He would have expected his own players to do it.
At least if you’re going to do it, do it right 😂😂
Man bleeds for the shirt
What is an Arujo?
The laws are clear but to me the red yesterday was pretty harsh. But i loved Xavi’s sending off 😂

All you guys correcting OP how this scenario is (fuckin obviously) different, is everything okay at home?
The moment I fell in love with Fede Valverde 🦅
This subreddit is more obsessed with Barca than vice versa which you wouldnt expect from a team that’s so much better
Our man gunned down that rat in the dying minutes of extra time, with the scores level.
Araujo did it when they already had a two goal lead, within the first 30 minutes of the match.
Araujo did it in the first half with a 2 goals lead yikes. It was almost a penalty too.
I just hope Valverde wont be needed today to do this again.
The main difference is the minute each one of them got the red card
