Oh my word, who would’ve thought we should’ve been maintaining or city tree population with the utmost care. Almost like we *need* trees or something. /s
I hate how short-sighted society is : /
These don’t exactly seem to be native species. I don’t understand what they think they’re doing. It’s a desert, the trees are going to die off without unnatural levels of water. They need to stop sprawl, paint everything white, plant native species and start building underground.
Meanwhile, Norfolk Virginia is cutting down trees to widen the highway.
Meanwhile, the water needed for these trees is going into livestock feed. Time to reprioritize
