5. back in late 2020, during one of my strolls to clear the head from the pandemic, I was walking along the Grand Union canal when, reaching under a bridge, I see someone stop on it and turn over a huge garbage bag full of clothes into the river. not even just throwing the sealed bag into it, but opening it and letting the clothes fall one by one… I mean, not that it would make that much of a difference, it would have just been easier to remove it from the water if I could reach the bag.

   I was irate, screamed, started to run in their direction to… I don’t know, just do something I guess. the person ignored me as if I was nothing. just kept throwing the clothes into the river, masked face with eyes focused on the task, then grabbed a bicycle and pedalled away.

   these things upset me to no end.

6. Thameswater bosses after seeing this: Nice distraction, now quickly bump the prices up and blame it on the government

7. Stayed at the hotel next to the O2 arena in 2017 and was surprised at how filthy the Thames was. Is there any effort being made to clean it up?

8. could you please show me a river in a capital city in the world that does not look exactly like that? This is not a canal, it’s the river.
