  6. I used to love the GOP but this whole thing killed it for me. I’m not a fan of the democrats either. I think it just took me 28 years of being on Gods creation to realize my ethics and views can’t be reduced to one single party.

    First time in my life do I feel shame that this great nation isn’t helping those who need it the most. It feels much like when the Allies abandoned Poland to Germany and the USSR. This needs to be rectified before it creates a lasting stain on our history.

  13. This is an opportunity to rope reasonable Republicans back in and and further alienate those with extreme views. I view Johnson as someone that is trying to make everyone in his party happy and that just isn’t possible.

    Coming here and shitting on Republicans as a group doesn’t help future aid packages.

    I called my republican congressman this morning and thanked him through his staffers for standing on principal by supporting more aid and not bowing to isolationist pressure.
