I wonder what we would have thought reading this headline before Covid? It doesn’t sound odd now… which shows how far our mindset has moved.
Was utter nonsense to begin with. France embarrassed themselves with this and it’s their economy they hurt.
It’s an election year in France, they’ll be plenty more of this and other nonsense. I expect the island of Jersey fishing rights to be raised again soon, probably when Boris’s party enquiry comes out !!!
Would it be petty for the UK to close borders with France for a couple of days?
