Looks like the Fire brigade didn’t scrub the pictures hard enough
Its a mad attempted escape story, in case anyone hasn’t read it. Decoy flights, arrested on the plane, the whole shebang.
Notable when reading different articles on this is the differences in reporting standards (if that’s the correct term) of Irish vs American news sources.
The American outlets go into more detail of the victim’s testimony etc whereas the Irish Times here is much more just stating facts of courtroom proceedings.
I wonder if that’s because laws are different when cases are *sub judice*, or if it’s just the style of the newspaper in question.
I will never understand how it’s legal to print a man’s photo and name in such an egregious case when it hasn’t even been determined if there is evidence to bring it to court yet. At least wait til a man is found guilty
If guilty, it’ll be interesting to see the difference in sentencing. I’d imagine a sentence from Nolan would be miniscule in comparison?
Some of his tweets or whatever they are called now on X are not aging well. But innocent until proven guilty regardless of the circumstances of him skipping the country etc.

Relative of Irish MMA fighter who (used to) always go on about unvetted males.
Incredible turn of the tables.
