    This is a very positive sign as he has been one of the principle architects to stop this effort. If he is discouraged, that is a very positive development.

    I still caution against holding your breath, as he and MTG could still try something desperate, but as a trajectory this is good.

    **Note: I would not be surprised if he and she try to force a motion to vacate vote in the next few days in an effort to delay the vote. Be prepared for that possibility.**

    edit: the journalist tweeting is with Washington Post, a formerly top-tier paper (still decent in many ways) but now owned by Jeff Bezos and they’ve…eroded somewhat, but their reporting on this sort of stuff is still generally in the better categories of the many papers around the country
