You should be using the wing mirrors when driving not the rear window anyway. Also get off your phone while driving.

They might not have gotten to the lesson where L plate placement is taught. Give em a break!
What’s the problem? People put phone holders in the middle of the front wind screen. I’ve a bigger problem with that.
There should be a better system for L plates – like a magnetic exterior sticker you can apply while driving.
Ireland has far too much windscreen space taken up by discs too. I can’t see why the NCT, Tax and Insurance couldn’t be a small sticker.

I had a driving instructor once put a small pink lady sticker in the back window before a test that I lined up with the curb for reversing around the corner – could be something to do with that? Maybe I’m just giving too much credit to the driver
Probably has a dash cam that’s missing the L plate in the frame.

Next, you’ll see a learner driver wearing glasses, with an L directly in the middle of each lens.
