  1. So from this we know for sure that at some point he asked his lawyers if they could just reject every juror forever for months on end.

  2. Trump is mentally ill. He literally can’t see that laws in this country apply to him too. He wants divine right of kings, literally what this country fought to be free of.

  3. For someone who spent so much of his life leveraging the legal system, he sure doesn’t seem to know much about it.

  4. ‘Reject all the jurors = no jurors to convict me! Checkmate!’ – total moron Trump

  5. This guy’s ignorance is the only thing keeping him from fleeing the country. He literally thinks that he is above the law since he has been able to avoid consequences for his entire life.

It wasn’t hyperbole when he said that he could shoot someone and get away with it. He truly believes that.

    The guy is legitimately bonkers.

  6. At least in that respect, he is being treated as any other criminal defendant.

  7. For someone who spent a good part of his adult life in court, you’d think he would’ve picked this up along the way, that you only get ten. Not a US citizen but I even knew that.

  8. Next thing you know he’ll want to seat his own jurors

  9. He wasn’t happy that time Alina Habba rejected all jurors.

  10. This is not my own post; but why doesn’t he want the trial to go forward to prove that he is innocent and show that these indictments are illegitimate!

  11. Next it will be “the law says I am to be tried by a jury if my peers – none of these people are my peers”…. I just can’t wait to hear this argument….

  12. After asserting endlessly that he’s the best loved president ever, it has to be sobering to see evidence that he isn’t.

  13. It must be extraordinarily difficult to find American jurors who don’t have any opinion whatsoever on Donald Trump, positive or negative. Impossible, really.

  14. They’ve dismissed dozens of jurors. He’s getting a fair trial. Jurors are being dismissed if they said anything bad about Trump on social media, or even if they celebrated Joe Biden’s election victory.

He’s FROM New York. This is literally a jury of his peers.

  15. Donald Trump’s complete lack of knowledge in almost every category is astounding.

  16. Yeah, that’s how the law is written in NYS.

Sooo, surprise of all surprises, he’s whining that he’s not allowed to break – or be above – the law.

My schadenfreude is finding new levels, daily, since Monday.

  17. Actually, he CAN reject unlimited jurors… for cause.

But, of course, you don’t have unlimited peremptory challenges.

  18. He could reject unlimited jurors by simply waiving his rights to a jury trial.

  19. “Why aren’t there special rules just for me?! WAHHH!”

-Failed businessman, rapist and criminally indicted former president, Donald Trump

  20. I nearly got seated on a potential death penalty case that involved well over a hundred potential jurors packed into multiple court rooms. Over two days they whittled it down to about forty or so jurors before they finally seated a jury. I was one of the few remaining left that didn’t get seated (I nearly ran out of there when they said we were dismissed).

I cannot imagine the process that they had to go through for Trump, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was thousands of potential jurors.

  21. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. If you could reject unlimited jurors nobody would ever reach trial. They would just keep stalling for the rest of their life.

  22. “I thought STRIKES were supposed to be ‘unlimited’ when we were picking our jury?” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “I was then told we only had 10, not nearly enough when we were purposely given the 2nd Worst Venue in the Country.”

I didn’t bother to read the rules, therefore I must have been treated unfairly!
