    Virgin monarchists vs Chad republicans:

  2. We also have celebrities but they are not paid from state budget

  3. Two perfectly healthy grown men remain sat while the old lady is forced to stand up…

If you ask me, thats reason enough to do the Pierre thing.

  4. monarchy is hated by non EU foreigners that live here. win in my books

  5. Oh believe, I do understand. And I wish my country was a Monarchy and not a charade Republic where professional politicians use the presidency to feed their ego through the country highest office.

Because, although I live in a Republic, I have realised the superiority of Monarchies:

Stability and Continuity: Constitutional monarchies often provide a sense of continuity and stability. The monarchy is typically a centuries-old institution that represents tradition and historical continuity, which can be reassuring and can help maintain a sense of national identity, amidst globalisation.

Apolitical Head of State: Unlike presidents, monarchs are above politics. They do not engage in political campaigns and are meant to represent all citizens rather than a particular political party or ideology. They unify the country, particularly in times of political division. They reign, while elected politicians govern.

3.Tourism and Cultural Significance: Monarchies often enhance tourism, as royal traditions, ceremonies, and livable palaces attract visitors. The cultural heritage associated with monarchy can also add to national pride and contribute to a country’s international image.

    4. Ceremonial Role: The monarch can play a significant ceremonial role that frees up elected officials to focus on governance and policy-making. This separation can be particularly beneficial in complex governments.

    5. Soft Power and Diplomacy: Monarchs can act as important diplomatic figures, leveraging centuries of tradition and established relationships. Their long tenure allows them to build extensive networks with other nations’ leaders, which is advantageous for international relations.

    6. Buffer Against Rapid Changes: In a constitutional monarchy, the monarch can act as a check against rapid or radical political changes, providing a stabilizing influence during times of crisis or transition.

    7. Lesser Political Polarization: Since the head of state is a hereditary position and not a product of electoral politics, there is less polarization around the figure of the monarch compared to elected heads of state, who act in accordance with the potential results of the next electoral act.

“Where men are forbidden to honour a king they honour millionaires, athletes, or film-stars instead: even famous prostitutes or gangsters. For spiritual nature, like bodily nature, will be served; deny it food and it will gobble poison.” – C.S. Lewis, Present Concerns

“If the Allies at the peace table at Versailles had allowed a Hohenzollern, a Wittelsbach and a Habsburg to return to their thrones, there would have been no Hitler. A democratic basis of society might have been preserved by a crowned Weimar in contact with the victorious Allies.” – Winston Churchill

“The second cardinal tragedy [of the Great War] was the complete break-up of the Austro-Hungarian Empire by the treaties of St. Germain and Trianon. For centuries this surviving embodiment of the Holy Roman Empire had afforded a common life, with advantages in trade and security, to a large number of peoples none of whom in our own times had the strength or vitality to stand by themselves in the face of pressure from a revivified Germany or Russia. There is not one of these peoples or provinces that constituted the Empire of the Hapsburgs to whom gaining their independence has not brought the tortures which ancient poets and theologians had reserved for the damned.

  6. NOOOO! YOU CAN’T HAVE HEADS OF STATE THAT WERE BORN RICH!!!

YOU NEED TO HAVE HEADS OF STATE THAT BECAME RICH BY BEING LOBBIED BY CORPERATIONS!!!

  7. Understand what? Inbred regards? I understand them fully!

  8. I am SOO proud of our royals. These people are full of ~~themselves~~ love for our country, we cannot wish for ~~fatter~~ better leaders than these fine people.

  9. *some funny comment about Amalia having black hands*

  10. Republic fans coping about being worse at democracy than the constitutional monarchies won’t ever stop being hilarious.

  11. What should we understand ? I mean no one know your royal families. The British Royal Family is the only one famous, because it was a great power. Here we just see some useless aristocrats with jewellery that fake rule on a fake country that will disappear in the next decades, slain by the sea.

  12. Being Dutch, I don’t understand either. Maintaining ancient buildings to preserve history is one thing, but maintaining pointless ancient institutions that fundamentally don’t align with democracy is something else.

  13. Yeah no

    In Spain we say

A la tercera va la vencida

  14. You are just proud of people that robbed your ancestors and just stole the whole damn country.

  15. Ah, Karneval!!!
I like how your pet aristos always dress up! So cute!

    What do you feed them?
Spain is based they send their king out to hunt lions and elephants for himself. Poor guy.
The Brits sent poor Andrew on an island with his friends to feed on underage girls. What a noble way to spend money, right. Andrew is simply “too honourable”. Like his father who has a butler to ties his shoes. Clumsy little Charles.

Swedish Carl only seems to hunt boring elk and brazilian strippers. But hey, he’s only a man, let’s pay for the champagne spilled on a hookers chest, why not? He needs some nourishment too! At least he doesn’t add to the sheer number of aristos. King Albert of Belgium can’t keep his semen where it should be and has costly daughters with commoners. Let’s not mind old creep whoring around. Why not, we gladly pay for yet another princess.

The Dutch royals on the other hand are so bland and boring that they only travel to Greece during Corona. Oh well. Watching them is like watching Agatha Christie movies from the 60s. Nice but a bit outdated.

Is that really what you want? What do you get out of it? Watching some people parading their wealth in your face? Giving droll speeches about King/Queen and Fatherland after any kind of war declaration or disaster? Isn’t it bad enough to have politicians who are just like the royalty but at least they can be voted out of office?

Have your aristos, keep them, be happy with them. But the French were right and still are. Useless lot.

  16. Inbred from inbred and inbred again if ugly was beauty she was a 10.

  17. The Dutch queen is so cute and healthy lucking. Reminds me of that out of the zone girl with that terrible father in GOT

  18. Republics will never understand wasting money and having them go on vacation to greece while the country is in lockdown

  19. Honest question: do you feel that your king/Queen has the country in mind when making decisions? Since it is they life time job, the country “belongs” to them etc etc… or are they more like a fun thing to have to represent the country?

In our “banana” republic it seems no one has the best of the country in mind. Seems the president and prime minister only think about on their pockets and how to create issues to solve later on, specially right before the elections so people vote in them.
