He should take the criticism and accept his mistake. Gundo did nothing wrong
Bro can’t take constructive criticism
Yeah these guys ain’t doing shit in the future. You can’t be successful with a mentality like that. No chance.
This just proofs that this club is sick & we have small mentality players.
I’m curious what are those “codes and values”?
“I fouled him so he couldn’t score on me”?
I am seriously asking, what is he thinking
Imaging scoffing at the comments of a vet who played a crucial role in winning a treble, especially when YOU are the reason Barca suffered for an hour with 10 men..
A feud within the club is worse than a humiliating defeat.
Araujo is in no position right now to speak against a treble winning captain.
Whatever Gundo said was absolutely true.
Childish response. Own the mistake, understand the consequences and move on.
Araujo es muy tribunero, es agotante.
Gundogan criticizes a specific play in which Araujo fucks up and everyone with two eyes can see. In response, Araujo criticises Gundogan as a person. Moron.
Thank god for Gundo, and hopefully he rubs on the young kids.
Respect for Araujo just went down the drain
If this is real, then don’t know what to say lol. Should’ve shut up instead of this
Ok, good luck in Bayern, Ronald
Ronald you could have just shut up after you let your team and fanbase down with that tackle.
Codes and values? Wtf is he even talking about? It was criticism on your dumb mistake, nothing to do with any code or values. Smh, what an entitled brat
holy damn … i’m just in disbelief that he could say this. and well .. i’m disappointed ..
This is not good. We brought in Gundo for experience and leadership but what’s the point if the younger ones don’t listen. Gundo has no fault here.
This is the to,e for araujo to keep quiet. He deserves all the criticism coming his way.
Come on man. Gundogan was a captain of the treble winning team and very senior in the Barca team both in terms of play and mentality.
Araujo should introspect on himself. Accept it and work on improvement rather than saying unnecessary things in the media.
Media already looks for small issues and creates a big mess out of it and he is giving them contents.
This will create tension inside the dressing room.
Man I’m so not ready for a locker room spat. Can you guys please stick together? I’d take a defeat like this anyday over you throwing each other to the dogs!
Pleasee! :”(
Disappointing
Our team needs a mentality change immediately.
It cant be tolerated, that our coach has multiple red cards bc of mental breakdowns in a single season and our team always completely collapses and sinks into oblivion when there is sudden mental challenges in matches, that could be overcome with discipline.
Maybe a team of experts for sports psychology or something. Anything that changes the childish amateur management the club has right now, at least try to change something. It’s one of the biggest sports clubs in the world, you should have all the resources for something like this.
Araujo is one of the best defenders itw but how the fuck do you not feel the tiniest bit responsible for that unnecessary red card. I would understand if that goal would make them lead on aggregate but WE WERE LITERALLY 4-2 UP!!! He should’ve learned from his mistakes back in the super copa final
Shut your trap , you costed us a match and now you spit this bs? You were the one who made yamal cry and not psg.
Downvote me all you want, but this is the attitude Xavi has imposed as the manager. Don’t own up to errors, blame someone else, denial. Gundo was a breath of fresh air and he’s gonna get heat for it because the locker room is set up differently. We need a change in mentality.
If our players have such mentality we’re never winning the Champions league in the near future. Players gotta own to their mistakes and move, none of that weak mentality bullshit.
The loss is all on YOU! Just admit it ffs
Tbh, I hope Araujo to apologize his teammates in public.
It’s obvious that we lost a game because of his mistake.
I’m not blaming him and he’s been pretty good for us but it doesn’t mean “that challenge wasn’t stupid.” It was stupid and if he says to Gundogan, he’s is stupider than I think he is.
It’s shameful for him. Especially for 3rd Captain of our team.
Araujo made the biggest mistake of his career, so its very obvious that he’s gonna take a lot of heat publicly and in private from everyone.
Gundogan is 100% right with his comment. You just simply can’t make a mistake like that in a big match and then act hurt when other players call you out.
There’s nothing that Araujo can do after that red card, but to be silent, keep his head down, admit that he fucked up, work harder to make sure that never happens again and to not create fights between teammates.
And he adds when a Journalist asks if he feel responsible for the game result.
“Responsible, responsible no.
Obviously it conditioned the game a bit”
What a lack of maturity and accountability!!!!!
