My gf had a parking ticket from Etterbeek couple weeks ago. We recieved an “official” paper via letter with the amount to pay. Maybe wait a couple days to see if you recieve a letter from the commune.
Most communities use parking.brussels to monitor parking, but Etterbeek does not, they do it themselves. Probably why it looks different. The forfait amount is indeed 40 EUR. Oh, it’s a scam, just not in the way you think it is. As a Belgian judge once eloquently put it: it’s the street equivalent of a slum landlord asking exorbitant prices that are in no way related to the service you’re getting.
It’s from Mr. Etterbak, watch out! He’s a first class bully!

Wat ik wel erg vind, is dat de Franse taal voorrang krijgt op een Vlaams parkeerticket.
Better hide personal information for privacy.
Negeren en pas betalen als je aangetekende brief krijgt.
Als ze toeslag vragen bel je en zeg je dat het parkeerticket er zo vreemd uitzag en anderstalig was dus dat je vermoeden had van fraude.
Seems totally legit. Redact your car plate from this ticket though. That’s personal info.
Betalen jongeuh! En volgende keer de regels respecteren!
