Stood at this exact spot with my fiance for 20 minutes back in 2019. Was 3am and totally quiet. It was like for just those 20 minutes of time, the Rialto was only ours to enjoy.
Then we woke up the next day with a Limoncello hangover, Rialto was packed and we were barged over by a parade of Chinese tourists with a billion shopping bags each.
Venice is a city of two sides.
This was my favorite view when we stayed in Venice. I can’t wait go go back.
Been there last summer. A place from an other time.
I have recently put together 1000 piece puzzle of this view.
Light reflection was toughest one because all reflections looked similar
