Birr isn’t so bad. There are some absolutely desolate midlands towns. Birr is better than many.
Once got Birr on Geoguessr… I was like hmmm… this reminds me of Ireland.. this reminds me of the Midlands…. then I saw a sign which said Birr! But ive never been in real life.
I rather like Birr. It’s a nice enough town; pleasant riverside parks, the lovely castle gardens, and it’s got a few nice old churches and all those stately old Georgians along John’s Place and Oxmantown Mall. There are plenty of worse places in the midlands, I’d say.
There is a nice castle and a park. Not bad at all.
