Is this ice or messed up snow? I’m from Australia – I’ve never seen snow fall so I don’t know what I’m looking at…it looks like the path is flooded with icy water but I’m guessing it’s solidish?
It is pretty much an ice rink out there right now. The freeze, melt, freeze, melt is terrible. An older woman in my building can’t take her dogs out because she would surely fall and maybe break a hip or something.

I recommend getting detatchable spikes for your shoes from Prisma etc. Not the prettiest thing but really come handy in this weather

Can’t go for a jog cause I’ll slip and die, can’t go to the gym cause they’re closed, can’t exercise at home cause my flat is just too small. Trying to take care of my mental health by working out but fucking hell it’s been made difficult at the moment.

I just want to take the opportunity to complain about the K group selling 10kg bags of gravel for TEN EUROS.
Fortunately you can buy the exact same bags from Prisma for €3.50, but still, its a bag of crushed rocks. It should be less than a euro.

When I was younger (and so much more vain!) I used high heels around the year. Even with this ice. It was ducking stupid and I wonder how I still have working ankles! But if wearing stilettos, you could use them as ice spikes and just hit them into the ice. Would ruin the shoes tho. I have also walked back home with socks only, because drunk young me had no other way of not falling on the ice. Good times.
Also the dog looks perplexed.
Going to Lidl to get a frozen pizza lads, wish me luck.
Always when I see one of those roads I just want to run to it. And sliiiiide
