9. Kinda just shows we pass it into the most senior person/been at the club longest at all times. Not the most suited to lead.

   Sometimes, that’s the same person so cool, great. But I’d argue Casemiro would’ve been a better captain than Marcelo/Benzema in 2022 for example, with all due respect to both of those legends.

   Next in line would be Carvajal, who I’d agree with but then I think it should be Rudiger and Valverde next and not Kroos and Modric.

   Then again what do I know 🙁

20. I don’t know If I like our captaincy rules. Neither Marcelo or Nacho were regular starters and it’s crucial imo to have the actual captain on the pitch.

    I believe that no one is really giving that captain aura this season except Bellingham funnily enough.

    You need a captain that rallies the troops when needed, barks orders or calms down players. Very much like Ramos used to do.
