In March 1986, my mum was gifted a tiny cherry tree sapling from Woolworths to celebrate the birth of my older brother. This is it today.

  1. I love any tree where someone knows when and why it was planted, though it is a bit sad that most are “in memoriam”. Wouldn’t it be nice if we celebrated birthdays or big events with them like this?

    Brb, buying a web domain…

  2. Nice tree. It’s always satisfying when they do well … my daughter planted a tree at infants school as part of lesson activity, it’s still going strong, always makes me smile when we see it.
