Christ – they are chasing tweets, but in real life if someone gets burgled it can be a 48hr wait, then they tell you they can’t do shit. There are no police patroling the streets…local police outside of metropolitan areas simply do not exist, outside of traffic police.

26. If there’s any habitual criminal in Britain who deserves very frequent visits from the police every week when he’s not behind bars it’s Barton. Ideally to arrest him for his own violent criminality, rather than that of his relatives or his nasty clickbaity social media nonsense.

    I’ve said some pretty awful things on the internet over the years and never had the coppers come to my door over it, but when some kid vandalised my outhouses a couple of weeks ago I had two cops out for an hour or so taking notes and evidence and looking around.
