Czech Republic rated more stable than US, UK in new Social Risk Index

  1. The headline somewhat implies that the UK has gone down in the social stability index, but surprisingly it has actually risen three places.

    >In the first edition of the Index, the Czech Republic rated 28, below countries like the United States (23) and United Kingdom (25). Despite ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Czech Republic shot up nine places in this year’s Index, passing the US (now 35) and UK (22) in the process.

  2. Huh. I would have thought we were a pretty stable country, so good job. Always nice to see countries rising from the ashes of the former Warsaw Bloc

  3. Not surprised about the US at least. But these sorts of indexes are usually quite meaningless.
