Wahey, it's late, it's Saturday night!
Why are you still up? Off out for a fight? Doing the night shift?
Come on in for a chat.
Do you prefer fiction or nonfiction books?

On train out of London after seeing Kaiser Chiefs, which means I’ve finally seen two out of three of the first bands I got into. Just The Wombats left, although I’ll be a third of the way there in a month as I’ll be seeing the solo band of Matthew Murphy, Love Fame Tragedy.
For some reason my brain thinks it’s Sunday, and that I have work tomorrow.
I much prefer non fiction books 😄
I’m just finished a dnd game with a new group. I’m just winding down with a book.
I’ve just got home from a family party. I was conflicted about going because my husband is still in hospital, but he’s stable now and mostly just sleeping. He told me to go and I’m glad I did because it was nice to see everyone.
I’m really starting to feel him not being here. I know it’s silly because it’s only been 2 days but we’re very rarely away from eachother over night, and obviously there’s no set date that he’ll be returning home. I’m finding it really hard to sleep without him.
My dad gave us a lift home and helped me put the kids to bed tonight which was so lovely.
Currently rewatching Still Game and having a few G&Ts.
My favourite books are the ones set in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe by George RR Martin. It’s just a shame that he writes at the same speed as a disabled snail in a head wind
I love listening to biographies on Audible too. I’ve finished Bob Mortimer, Patrick Stewart, Peter Kay, James Acaster and Billy Connolly. All great
I prefer fiction books. Light-hearted stuff. There’s too much serious and depressing stuff in the world. I like to escape it.
I’m awake listening to the neighbours arguing about the same stuff again. I wish they’d split up.
She hates it when he goes to the local pub without her (which he did this evening) even though she doesn’t like the local that much and she doesn’t understand why he wants to drink in there (Its an old dingy place and drinks are quite expensive compared with the next pub down the road) but he always argues that she goes out for drinks with her sister or workfriends all the time.
They are both in their late 40s. This is a very regular argument.
I was watching some anime, and I wasn’t expecting YoungBlud and One Republic to be doing the intro music and outro music for it. The anime is called Kaiju No 8 it only has 2 episodes out, and it’s really good, so far
I am terrified of tomorrow. Don’t know what’s next.
A bit of light chilling tonight before I’m off up to Leigh tomorrow for the football. Just watching replays of last weekend’s titanic defeat of Chelsea, something even Barcelona couldn’t do today!
