    I’d be interested in the logic there. Presumably lack of publicly usable evidence. But it is a bit odd that we can’t just expel people we know are spying for China.

  3. Haven’t Chinese learned yet that the correct way to influence the parliament and politicians is through party donations, backhanders, mates rates and promises of lucrative corporate jobs?

    The MP says he kept MI5 completely in the loop with it all and no accusation has been levelled at him. Isn’t it likely that it was useful for his pet spy to be known to MI5?

    This stinks of someone trying to dig up a bad story for deflection… Especially since the conservatives are up to their nuts in compromat!
