The US economy is such an exploitive joke at this point. When the US falls apart like a burning house of cards… I think a surprisingly high percentage of the population will be glad to see it go.
The deficits appears reckless enough that I wonder whether the government is doing any more than trying to prevent the wheels from falling off before the November elections.
It doesn’t remotely look like a sustainable fiscal policy.
Kicking that can down to road…
And yet economists never seem to worry about corporate price gouging, wage suppression, single points of failure or any of the other genuine threats to the economy.
I’m worried because holy crap have you seen food prices, electricity prices, insurance prices and everything else? You cannot fund the world’s problems anymore. No more giving money away to foreign countries !!!!!!! Fk them!!!!!! Let them figure out their own ways and battles. We can’t water down the USD much more. It’s going to break. I can still afford food and shelter. But I know a whole bunch of people who can’t! And there’s a shit load of homeless people everywhere in every city and state.
