  2. A one bedroom apartment costs 2,000 euros per month in Dublin. Can someone slowly explain, in simple words suitable for conversation with a 3-year-old, how our “human development index” is so high when people struggle to afford a place to live?

    I am unimpressed by fancy terminology and academic abstractions that claim everything is great, when ordinary people can see for themselves that it isn’t. Ireland is a lovely place, but the cost of living here is reaching a crisis.
